Bosquet des Papes is a family owned low production winery known for their exceptional Chateauneuf du Pape. You can almost guarantee the same quality winemaking goes into the bottle as the famed vineyards or villages, but they're usually made with younger vines, or juice that barely missed the cut for their prestige cuvee, yet more approachable in it's youth. Their 'Cotes du Rhone' is made from just 3.5 hectares of vines with an average age of 50 years, planted just minutes from the famed Chateauneuf du Pape region, and the quality is comparable. Dominique Roger - Domaine du Carrou, Sancerre 2020 Crisp Citrus, Beautifully Floral, Stony Minerals, and Deliciously Refreshing! Back in stock is our go-to Sancerre for the season. The 2020 Dominique Roger Domaine du Carrou is easily one of the finest examples of Sancerre for the price. We love how crisp and refreshing this wine is, aromas of ripe grapefruit, yellow peach, wild daisies, honeysuckle, and clean minerals. The wine shines on the palate, zippy and fresh with bright acidity and a touch of salinity making this Loire Sauvignon Blanc exceptionally food friendly, so much that this has landed on the Wine Spectator Grand Award Winning Pluckemin Inn by the glass list.
