"The 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc from Chateau de la Font du Loup shows well today, revealing an aromatic, elegant bouquet of white flowers, pear, white peach and flower blossoms. Medium to full-bodied with a velvety attack, it's round and satiny with bright acids and a vertical dynamism in the mid-palate that segues into a long, ethereal and fresh finish. This blend of Roussanne (35%) and Grenache Blanc (35%), with 15% each Bourboulenc and Clairette, matured in used barrels (80%) and concrete tanks (20%) and is a real success at this address."
