"The Moulin-à-Vent “Champs de Coeur” is a new bottling from Louis Boillot, which he describes as being “planted with very, very old vines.” This is more completely black fruity in personality than the Brussellions this year, delivering a stunning bouquet of cassis, sweet dark berries, espresso, currant leaf, woodsmoke, gamebird and a complex base of dark soil elements. On the palate the wine is pure, precise and rock solid at the core, with a full-bodied and beautifully balanced format, lovely focus, ripe tannins and superb length and grip on the complex finish. This is a great new addition to the firmament of the Boillot family’s Moulin-à-Vent bottlings! "
