"The 2019 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is an elegant, polished wine. Super-classic Rocche aromatics open first. There's plenty of substance on the palate as well, where the wine offers notable resonance and tons of persistence. Kirsch, blood orange, spice, menthol and dried herbs are all beautifully delineated. All this needs is a few years in bottle." AG

"With fruit from La Morra, this wine shows soft fruit, spice and fine tannins that are characteristic of this cru site with beautiful south-facing exposures. The bouquet on the Francesco Rinaldi & Figli 2019 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is initially shy, and you need to give this wine more bottle age. Redcurrant, spice and licorice eventually lift from the bouquet. Production is limited to 3,300 bottles."
