"The 2020 Odette Reserve Chardonnay was 100% barrel fermented with indigenous yeast in 70% new French Oak and sur lie aged for 16 months. The long, drawn-out fermentation, also known as the “death and resurrection”, adds depth and nuances that complement the concentrated and layered palate. Offering notes of Brioche, white peach, lemon curd, roasted nuts, with hints of salinity and wet stone, this “old shot wente” selection carries a sense of purity, elegance and class that can be enjoyed both near and long term."
