Medium garnet in color, the 2007 Proprietary Red Right Bank reveals a beautifully beguiling nose of smoked meats, fragrant earth, yeast extract, mincemeat pie and potpourri with a core of baked cherries, preserved plums, spice cake and incense. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is in a maturity sweet spot right now with plenty of evolved black fruits and complex spice and earth layers, framed by plush tannins and finishing with wonderful harmony.
